The new High Elf army list I have been taliing about is as follows:
Archmage Lvl 4 Seerstaff of Saphery
Prince W/ GW, HA, Barded Horse, Helm of Fortune, Radiant Gem of Hoeth
Noble BSB W/ GW, Armor of Calador, Dawnstone
3 Units of 20 Archers with Musician
29 Pheonix Guard Full Command, Banner of Sorcery, and BSB
2 Bolt Throwers
11 Silver Helms Full Command and Lord
6 Shadow Warriors
Interesting. I assume you're running the PG as 5x6? Silver Helms as 6x2? Also, does your list include the Banner of Eternal Flame anywhere, or magical attacks? I'm finding those two to be required, given all of the regen and ethereal stuff I tend to face...

well, to get the Banner of Eternal Flame is a little tricky to get. You can by eliminating the unit of Shadow Warriors and putting a standard on one of the archer units. The Shadow Warriors are not truely need but i find it nice as a "throw away" unit. It will leave you with 97 points to play with. Magic attacks is really easy to take care of. Pull out 1 Shadow Warrior and give the champ in the PG unit The Amulet of Light. A long lasting unit with Strength 4 magic attacks and 3 Strength 6 magic attacks.
ReplyDeleteLore of magic. Well the level 4 has been running High and picking Shield, Curse of Arrow, Fury of Khaine, and Flames of Phoenix. I was running Beast Magic on the "level 1" with Wild Reform(+1 Strength and Toughness), but now I am thinking of just using High on it also. Having Shield twice is always fun.
